To eat yourself into bankruptcy

 

Tsundoku (n.)

Buying books and letting them pile up in your home without reading them

Irusu (n.)

Pretending to be out when someone knocks on your door

Boketto (n.)

The act of gazing vacantly into the distance without thinking
